Day 11 · 9:30 AM · Cross-Pollination Initiative
THE
AGENCY
PITCH
Level 1 built the chatbots.
Level 2 makes them look like a million dollars.

Today we bring both groups together — and give our clients something no other camp has ever delivered.
Level 1 — The Product Level 2 — The Studio Discovery Session Demo Video Production
The Opportunity
TWO CAMPS.
ONE CLIENT.
ONE PACKAGE.
Several clients appear in both Level 1 and Level 2.

Level 1 built them a custom AI chatbot.
Level 2 is building them a brand film.

Right now those are two separate deliverables from two separate groups.

What if they became one cohesive package?

What the client gets

  • A brand film — 3 minutes, cinematic, client-approved
  • A chatbot demo video — 60–90 seconds, product-focused
  • Both visually consistent, same production quality
  • Delivered together at the premiere
  • One studio. One package. Maximum impact.

What each group gets

  • Level 1 — their chatbot professionally showcased
  • Level 2 — a real additional client brief to execute
  • Both — the experience of cross-functional collaboration
  • Everyone — a more impressive portfolio piece
The Setup · Who Does What
THE
ROLES
Level 1 · The Client

The Product Team

  • You built the chatbot — you know it better than anyone
  • You are the client briefing the studio
  • Answer the discovery questions honestly and specifically
  • Demo the chatbot live during the session
  • Review and approve the demo video concept
  • You are being pitched to — you have final say
Level 2 · The Studio

Kittivisianwood AI Studio

  • You are the multimedia company pitching for the contract
  • Come prepared — you already know what good production looks like
  • Run the discovery session — ask every question on the list
  • Take notes — these become your creative brief
  • Leave with a verbal scope approved by Level 1
  • You win the contract by being the most prepared room
▸ This is a real pitch · Level 1 can say no · Level 2 has to earn it
How It Runs
THREE
PHASES
1
The Pitch — Level 2 presents to Level 1 Level 2 introduces Kittivisianwood AI Studio. Shows work-in-progress from the brand films. Makes the case: "We are the studio that should make your chatbot demo video. Here's why."
15 min
2
Discovery Session — Level 2 interviews Level 1 Level 2 runs through all 18 discovery questions. Level 1 demos the chatbot live. One Level 2 student asks questions. One takes notes in the discovery form. One watches the product demo.
25 min
3
Scope + Handshake — verbal agreement on what gets made Level 2 presents a quick verbal scope: duration, tone, features to highlight, format. Level 1 approves or gives feedback. Handshake. Contract awarded. Discovery form submitted.
10 min
▸ Total: 50 minutes · Then both groups return to their own production tracks
Discovery Session · Questions 1–9
THE
DISCOVERY
QUESTIONS
1
The Differentiator What makes this chatbot different from one that just answers basic questions? What does it know that a general AI doesn't?
2
Safety & Guardrails How does it respond to inappropriate questions or queries outside its scope? What happens when someone tries to break it?
3
Unique Features Does it have text-to-voice? Multiple languages? Can it see images (multimodal)? What surprises people?
4
Data Output Can it output anything beyond text? Maps, charts, tables, downloadable files, links? Show me.
5
Access & Login Does it require a login? Is it public-facing or restricted? What does the access journey look like?
6
Admin Dashboard Does the client have a dashboard? What can they see, configure, or monitor from it?
7
Feedback Loop Does it securely store conversations for improvement purposes? How does the chatbot get smarter over time?
8
User Privacy How does it protect the identity of the person asking? Is there anonymity? What data is stored about the user?
9
Intended User Who is this for — general public, internal staff, or a specific group? This changes everything about how the demo video is shot.
Discovery Session · Questions 10–18
MORE
QUESTIONS
10
Primary Use Case What is the ONE thing most users will come to it for? That's the hero moment of the demo video.
11
The Ideal Interaction Walk me through a perfect conversation from start to finish. We need to film exactly that.
12
The Interface What does it look like? A widget? A standalone page? A WhatsApp integration? We need to know what we're filming.
13
The Platform Where does it live — website embed, mobile app, messaging platform? This affects how we frame every shot.
14
Tone of the Demo Should the video feel corporate and authoritative, or approachable and educational? Who is in the room watching it?
15
Guardrails for the Video Are there things it should NOT say or show? Any edge cases the video must avoid demonstrating?
16
The Embarrassment Test What would make the client cringe about this chatbot? This surfaces edge cases that need fixing before filming.
17
Personas Give me 2–3 specific user types — age, technical comfort, goal, and what would make them trust or distrust an AI tool. A 55-year-old civil servant is not the same user as a 22-year-old entrepreneur.
18
Empathy Mapping For your primary user — what are they thinking, feeling, saying, and doing when they arrive? What do they fear? What does success feel like for them?
Question 18 · Deep Dive
THE
EMPATHY
MAP
Before you can film a demo video that resonates, you need to know who you're talking to and what is going on in their head when they open the chatbot.

The empathy map is not a technical question. It's a human question.

Why this changes the video

A user who is frustrated after being on hold for 40 minutes needs the chatbot demo to feel fast, reassuring, and competent.

A user who is skeptical of AI needs the demo to feel transparent and trustworthy — not flashy.

Same product. Completely different video.

💭 Thinking

  • Is this secure?
  • Will it actually understand me?
  • What happens to my data?
  • Is this faster than calling?

❤️ Feeling

  • Skeptical — AI feels impersonal
  • Anxious about privacy
  • Relieved if it works fast
  • Frustrated if it doesn't understand

💬 Saying / Typing

  • "How do I file my return?"
  • "What documents do I need?"
  • "Can I speak to a human?"
  • "Is this information correct?"

🖐 Doing

  • On phone at lunch — one hand
  • At a desk — has time to read
  • Trying after hours — no human available
  • Comparing with a Google search
Question 17 · Deep Dive
WHO IS
THE USER?
A persona is not a demographic.
It's a specific human with a specific goal on a specific day.

Level 2 needs 2–3 personas from Level 1 before they can write a single line of demo video narration.

The persona formula

  • Name + age + role — make them real
  • Technical comfort — 1 to 5 (1 = never used AI, 5 = uses it daily)
  • Their goal — what they came to do
  • Their fear — what would make them close the tab
  • Their win — what does success look like for them

Example persona — IRD Grenada

  • Margaret, 52, Senior Accounts Clerk
  • Technical comfort: 2/5 — uses WhatsApp, suspicious of AI
  • Goal: find out the deadline for PAYE submissions without calling
  • Fear: giving wrong information to her department because the AI was wrong
  • Win: gets the exact answer with the official form number in under 30 seconds

Why this matters for the video

If Margaret is the primary user, the demo video:

— Uses plain language, not tech jargon
— Shows the chatbot being specific and sourced
— Demonstrates speed clearly
— Ends with a moment of trust, not just a result

What Gets Made
THE
DEMO
VIDEO
The demo video is a separate deliverable from the brand film.

Different purpose. Different length. Different format.
But the same production quality — same visual language, same studio.

Demo video specs

  • Duration: 60–90 seconds
  • Format: screen recording of chatbot in action + VO narration
  • Structure: problem → chatbot → solution → call to action
  • Tone: determined by the empathy map
  • Visual style: matches the brand film — same language
  • End card: how to access the chatbot

Why 60–90 seconds

Long enough to show 2–3 features properly.
Short enough to hold attention at a client presentation.
Short enough to post on LinkedIn or embed on a website.

The brand film tells the story. The demo video shows the product.

Credit efficiency

A demo video uses significantly fewer Director credits than a brand film — it's shorter, and relies partly on screen recording rather than full AI generation.

Level 2 can produce both deliverables without depleting their credit pool.

At the premiere

Both deliverables presented together to the client.
Brand film first. Demo video second.
One studio. Complete package.
